We have demo'ed the sandpit. It gave 4 years good service, but it has to make way for the diggers arrival this week. This holiday weekend we spent moving pavers/bricks, and things out of the path of the pending arrival of the digger.
We have finished moving all the pavers and bricks from the paths around the back of the house. Hence the huge stack of pavers at the front of the house.
The kids didn't mind that we destroyed their sandpit, they are taking this whole process very well so far.
