Our electric vehicle is finally about arrive. We ordered it back in early April 2022. It will arrive in country by end of October. We should receive it in the first half of November.
Only a 7 month wait. That is pretty normal wait time for EVs these days. It’s slightly better than the current expected wait time of 9 months.
Thanks to our very clever sparky (thanks Harry), we now have a Tesla EV Wall Connector (Gen 3) installed at home.
Oh, what car did we get? Only the world car of the year. The Hyundai Ioniq 5.
We chose the base model, as it was under the $80,000 threshold so we can claim the Clean Car Rebate from the government ($8,625).
It has a 58 kWh battery and an estimated range of 384 km.
