Unless you have been living in a cave, the Rugby World Cup kicked off last weekend in Auckland New Zealand. It was huge. So huge it broke poor old Auckland's train system. Even half the big outdoor screens they put up by the waterfront broke.
Luckily Kellie and the kids were in the Wynyard Quarter which was less crowded. So I met them there, had a beer at the Fish Market courtyard, and got a ride home with Steph.
Watched the fireworks from their balcony, down the road from our place.
Anyway, a week later and downtown is more normal with the showers and last weeks action keeping the crowds to a manageable level.
Roll on 8pm and the All Blacks vs Japan.
Better find something to eat the give the Heineken some company.
From The Cloud,
Go the All Blacks!
